Hello! I’m Anna (aka ‘VDF’ to some of my friends!) I’m quarter Dutch, have a cheeky sense of humour and can’t start my day without a mug of Yorkshire Tea! I live in Wilmslow, Cheshire and you’ll find me in my home-based studio (also known as the box room) most days.

I am a traditional designer at heart - I love typography, colour and a good moodboard! I’ve always immersed myself in magazines, fashion and photography and I was taught in an era of brain storming, marker pads, tear sheets and thinking before jumping on a computer. As a result I offer a unique, well considered and crafted solution to your brief.

I now have 23 years experience spent in London and Manchester working in design agencies and in-house with some big brands. I obtained a wealth of understanding of the branding and design process, including building brand/style guidelines and advising on brand execution. During my time working in-house at Mulberry I fell in love with the world of fashion and elegant, timeless design and the importance of retaining a brands craft and heritage. This is very much reflected in my design style now. My greatest passion is finding the beauty is simple things.

Now I run my own business working closely with clients who share the same passion for what they do and who have a desire to be different and make an impact. I love inspiring them, pushing them to be more creative and helping them to achieve a strong visual identity for their growing brand.
